I have my retrofit source headlights on my 2016 LX for 3-4 years now and they absolutely suck at night, though they look nice. Any other brand recommendations for headlights? I know OEM + retrofit is the best option, but any plug and play solutions?

Hey, I moved to the bay area like 2 years ago.

I have a set of stock retrofit, the projectors are called D2S 5.0 (3 inch lens) if you want to look them up; for sale or a set of oem led headlights that came off of my Type R

Retrofit D2S 5.0

This retrofit was done on a OE set of headlights but the internals are the D2S 5.0 projectors low/high beam and everything functions perfectly.

Low beam

i can hook you up with the 9006 > led harness (which is a plug and play)

Another option is that I can build you a simple retrofit over the weekend but I would need to do it in your garage because I don't have a work space.

This is what I'm running now - Morimoto LED

Ultimately like what others said, a retrofit would be best.
Most people that drop in LED bulbs in halogen projector housings, while it’s more aesthetically pleasing, and appears to be brighter, it’s mainly foreground light and doesn’t throw light that far.

I had retrofits done by 818 retrofits and went with the NHK gen V bi-led. Super crispy!

I used to have the Morimoto jewels, but honestly wasn’t impressed with the performance. I couldn’t get it adjusted right, and seemed to be narrow. It physically looked nice, but I didn’t like the output.
