I'm more generous of the foam application than you but I don't have PPF

On my cars with no coating, the suds sticks like that. This one the soap just slid right off... I'm thinking its the ceramic coat. I was suppose to just let the water evaporate but I could not wait so I used a microfiber and just let it slide and water beads just came right off.

20% Tint done. Ceramic coating next Tuesday

Nice! I just did 25% front, 18% rear, and 70% on the windshield CXP which rejects heat, etc.. Really don't like letting it sit outside but the sun will help cure the tint faster. Ceramic coating (Opti-Coat Pro) tomorrow.

You got a full on side shot? I am thinking of going 35 on front and 25 or 15 rears.

Nice, did they have to remove the lower wing for the back and what is the average charge for this job?

@izzyC-EX shop i used removed the lower wing in order for rear to be all one piece rather than two. For me, 20% all around was $300

Yes really hard to show the difference between the two... (I'll give my input below) But here you go. (On a warm mostly cloudy day)

From my experience the windshield at 70 is perfect to shade during the day and either wear sunglasses or if you forgot your still good. Also good night visibility.

25 up front is good for me because the SoCal sun. Some small loss in night visibility. I went less one time (20 i think) and removed it because i almost hit a median in a turn. 35 would give you good night visibility.

18 in the back to add more protection for my kid.

If i were you first i would do CXP not ceramic. CXP (a smokey black color) offers really good UV, IR and heat rejection. Ceramic does the same (slight better for a higher price); but the kicker which i don't like is it's more of a greenish tint.

I would do either 35 front and 25 back... Or 25 front 15 rear. That way from the outside it will have a better transition front to rear. Or.... 35 front, 25 rear, 15 hatchback glass.

Last note my tint guy actually had a Civic in the day before mine and was able to pre mold my hatchback tint to his so he didn't have to take off my spoiler. And now actually just bought a civic hatchback glass to keep in the back so he doesn't have to ever take the spoiler off.

Best of luck!

Sarkis is the best. He tinted all my cars. I will be seeing him later this week for my Type R. Yes he told me he bought a glass just for the same reason you mentioned. I had the same tint shade on my old Sport Touring. 70 windshield, 35 sides, and 25 in the rear.

Took mine to dealer today, had them do a alignment. Was covered, no charge since I took delivery of it Friday and less than 150 miles...noticed on drive home Friday that steering wheel was tilted to right few degrees when driving straight. They didn't provide what specs were but technician said toe was off on front and rear camber was out of spec. Readjusted and now steering is all good.

Also ordered some black 57CRs and 265/35 falkens yesterday. ?

You going with a meaty tire setup I see! Ill prolly go with 255/35. Does 265/35 alter gas mileage a bit?
