So for all those who have pre-2020 CTR's, here is my take.
Got my first stone chip on my left rear door the size of a pin head but it went straight to primer. Doors were not PPF's so it really ticked me off! Well things happen.
Went to my buddy the owner of a '19 SGP CTR (which I drove earlier this year) to get the OEM touchup paint stick. Being the Service Manager at a Honda Dealership, he too, has driven the 2020 and agrees with me that the difference, although slight, is nice but nothing great. He does track his car regularly and does feel that the shorter shifter is definitely one thing he noticed immediately.
Also agrees that the Comfort mode is softer, almost like a regular Civic in terms of road comfort. Other than that, our overall assessment remains that CTR's, no matter what MY, are extremely similar.
If your financial situation and internal desires can accomodate the minor 2020 upgrades, why not!!! But if nothing matches, then we are all still owners of CTR's that remain extremely similar in all driving respects.
