Anyone having a rough ride when using low speed follow?

I find when I'm in traffic and at slow speed (~10 km/h) and then traffic ahead speeds up again the acceleration is very abrupt. Subsequent braking around the same range is just as nasty as well. At higher speeds (~30 km/h) it doesn't seem so bad. Accelerating from a stop (when pressing the button) is equally as jerky.

I'm curious if this is just how it is or if I'm having issues?

It is how it is. I feel like subsequent adaptations of Honda Sensing will refine this, but it's definitely a lot more touchy than most drivers.

Braking feels less smooth than accelerating to me.

Is your follow distance set to the closest? I found that it's a little less abrupt when set to follow at the max distance.

This is true, but unfortunately I get cut off constantly with any more than the lowest distance setting.

I figured it was just the way it was going to be...

I have adjusted the follow distance. It's a bit better at the max distance but I still get the abrupt acceleration closer in when you are just about stopped and traffic moves again.

If you put it in ECO mode, the acceleration is a little more tolerable.

I always augment the acceleration with my foot. As for braking, its not as smooth as my touch. I'm still glad to have the feature though.
