I completely understand what do you want for the ease of getting it on and off the rack for sure I hate having to take the front wheel and tire off to put it up there. Iām gonna have to do some research to make sure that I can carry the 43 pounds but my downhill bike but Iām definitely shopping for my roof rack system.@D4nnyM
The wheels on my bike sit in a rail and there is a center support that grips the frame and keeps it upright. It is quite strong. Even at highway speeds, it is stable. There is a variant that allows you to disconnect the front wheel and mounts the forks onto the rack, That is super stable. I went the simpler route for ease of putting it on and off.
