I removed the cover of the fuses box and I discovered that the 18 and 19 fuses is one fuse and serves for Backup and Audio. Is it the right one to disconnect ?

Yes! The European edition is also with one fuse in slot 18. The slot 19 is empty.

Did the procedure worked for you ?
Yes, it worked!
But... because I don't have fuse in slot 19 (AUDIO), I removed 18 AND the 25 (AUDIO but higher AMP). So if only the 18 doesn't do the job (highly doubt), then do it with 18 & 25 ;)

can someone post a video on how to remove the plastic cover where is the rain sensor ? I cannot figure how to remove it. Maybe some explanations would also help.

Thanks.

This is my fuse box. Same configuration as yours ?
Well.. the European has a bit different configuration but still you remove the 18 (& 19) fuses.
No worries. The fuses are made to be removed ;)

Now for the cover. I got an idea from this video:

My tips on this: The first part he removes, I did it from the mirror side where there is a gap and not from the upper (literally there is no space for a finger there!).
For the rest of the cover I used those plastic tools for pry opening.
I suggest to buy them!! They are really cheap and makes it so easy to open plastics without leaving any mark! Just don't insert it very deep (~2-3mm). You only want to lift the cover and not the whole base of the system! Just around the edges.

Just did this procedure on the '17 Touring Sedan. Seems to work. Only issue I've found, is the blue accent light near the sunroof controls is also disabled. Haven't checked the ones in the wheel wells yet.

Do I have to trade the OEM accent lighting for traditional intermittent wipers?
