I found a thing in my center console

Does anyone know what this is? I found it in the center console under the cup holders. Looks like a cover to something.

And the hole is for passing the usb cable through to the back compartment when installed, because otherwise, the sliding cup holder hits it.

I can't believe I didn't try that. I was trying to fit it everywhere and could not figure it out, and it was loose in the center console when I found it.
