I'm assuming this car has a clutch delay valve like pretty much every other modern manual trans I'm aware of. You could look into deleting it, which may help. Just google CDV delete. Can increase the chance of damaging the transmission by accident though.
Anyone besides me finding this car in most colors looks better without tint, or with only a slight (45-50%) tint? Really not sure why, but I've given it almost a year, and can't seem to dig it like I do on other cars (except black.. looks good.) Has something to do with that rearmost section, I...
The qualifying heats had one of the civics so far ahead in 1st, the camera barely covered him in the two runs I saw. Then Foust got out in front for the final, and driver skill came into play. Based on the car alone, the civics were faster than anything out there. I think a slightly longer...
Got bored, so I cleaned up that front shot posted above and added a red front emblem à la type-r. Not gonna try cleaning up those seats with a clone brush. Just getting most of the creases out of the vinyl wrapped hood was enough for a quick chop:
I don't know if this has been done, but I was curious to compare the last type-r we got on our shores (DC2) to today's prices. If it were released at the $24,000 msrp, in today's dollars, that would be roughly $35,984. Hopefully the Honda will come in closer to its cousin's original price and...
I think their civic lineup is well full, considering there are still 3 more configurations coming (Si sedan, Si coupe, and type-r). It's still kind of odd to me that the lineup is going to be as big as it is, but with a car that has proven to sell in high volumes year after year, I guess Honda...
That's rail dust, and it's on practically every new car in existence. Dealer prep missed it. Buy a clay bar kit at your nearest auto parts store (nice to have, since it's a regular part of detailing a car) and they will erase in a few seconds. Or let the dealership do it, if you'd rather spend...
