Guess it's true for the LX/EX/EXL with seats up..not seats down. For the Sport and Sport Touring the Golf beats it both up and down.

Good news bad news. Good news the RS grille fits. Bad news.. While taking pictures after unboxing I noticed that one corner of the grille base was broken off. Went back inside and found the piece in some wrapping in the box.
I've contacted the seller who replied it was a transportation issue...

Priced the equivalent american chrome pieces @ hondapartscheap and parts totaled $321 shipping another $61. If the RS grille becomes the Si grille in america I can't see it costing less than the chrome..maybe? What the heck...placed an order for it.
It's should be easy. You'll need a Phillips head and a T30 Torx. Try to magnetize your T30 as you don't want those fasteners dropping inside the column cover. There's enough slack that disconnecting the airbag/horn isn't necessary. However, I would recommend doing it. Disconnecting the two...

That's what I ended up doing. You have to swap bulbs and trim two posts off the stock bulb holder. I guess I never posted that they do work. Looks sooo much better.
