We completed a tune yesterday on a dynojet with a built Si running E70 and the Hondata 1.5 fuel system. The results are fantastic. Great power with more possible using a race fuel.

This turbo setup reminds me of the old school "big turbo" D-series setup. Upgrading the cylinder head a little bit and allowing the engine to rev to at least 8000 rpm will make this thing a monster with more usable power.

The peak power number is great.... But what kind of terrible turbo setup is it using?

That curve screams "slow dyno queen."
I am using a precision 5855 we had some boost control problems we are addressing and exploring a different exhaust cam for a little bit faster spool

Is this using the electronic actuator, a pneumatic actuator or an external gate?

This is the one I seen on FB with the external wastegate setup right?

By the looks of the curve, it looks like the system never makes enough boost to open the gate, or it opens right at the end of the test.

...Or is it missing a fire ring and was partially open the whole test?...

I like the idea of changing out the exhaust cams for something more optimized for mid to high RPM. I think for a large turbo like this you could potentially reduce spool RPM.

Unfortunately, there are real questions about if the restrictions, like the integrated exhaust manifold and restrictive head, will allow you to see benefits.

Please let us know how it goes! I am very interested to see the results!
