does the Si have foot lighting? If so, is there a setting somewhere to turn it on?

Also, can you change the interior light colors thru infotainment?

The little light by the sunroof button is red and dim.

That little light is called an ambient light and it is supposed to be dim, it just gently illuminates the shifter. Hondas have had these for a very long time.

There is no stock footwell lighting though there is an option for it.

If you’re referring to the lights such as the button illumination you can not change the color.

Thanks! I know it’s the ambient light. My Lexus was a bluish color, but it seemed to illuminate much more. Same thing with my odyssey.

I think the regular civics are blue instead of red like ours since that’s what their lighting is inside as far as the dash and such. I think the one in my Pilot is like an amber color

Ambient light cannot be changed. It is red in the Si as that's the "sport" color motif they use (just like the gauges turn red, etc.). It's only there to just add a little bit of light at night, but not so much as to be a distraction. The gauges/infotainment screen add more light, honestly.

The civic does not come stock with footwell lighting but there is an official footwell led accessory:

As well as a console illumination strip:

If you want footwell lighting I would highly reccomend going with a third party kit they are a fraction of the price and offer more functionality (multiple colors, brightness levels, sound activation, etc.) I have the OPT7 Aura kit and it works great.

Yeah there's a footwell illumination kit that Honda sells; I plan to get it once I have a little disposable income.

I'm wondering the same thing with the OPT7, I would rather have it hardwired since I already have a car charger and dash cam occupying my cigarette socket but that would require getting into the fuses which I know nothing about.

Where did you mount the back lights? I could only find a spot to stick it by the seat rails.

This is easy to install, it should take maybe an hour or two if you are unfamiliar with the process, but if you know what you are doing 30 minutes should be more than enough time. You can reference this post I made on another thread that shows where I routed the wires.

https://www.civicx.com/threads/buddy-club-full-leather-steering-wheel-installed.22937/#post-386645

The LED strips on the back seat were zip tied to the heated seat wire harness under the front chairs.

Easiest way to hard the LEDs is with a fuse tap. Crimp (or preferably solder) the fuse tap to the positive end of the power cables (red wire) and then pull one of the power switched fuses and replace with the fuse tap. If you want the lights to come on with the dome lights you will also need to take the secondary power cables and splice/solder them to a harness under the door sills.
