From my conversation with RV6 performance. They believe that a high flow will be blown out by the turbo. but they will have a CAT delete option around the beginning of next yearwhat should the diameter be for a universal high-flow cat? I don't plan to mod the rest of the exhaust.
The issue is heat, and not all cats are the same. A high flow 200 cell metallic racing cat will not hold up to the increased heat, especially when it is mounted so ridiculously close to the turbo. A OEM ceramic core 3-way catalyst has more heat-resistant material built into it, so it can withstand the heat, but is more restrictive. From my conversation with RV6 performance. I love it. And haha yah no fart cannons. And no dragging issues yet. I'll get a sound clip tomorrowfinally someone with a proper exhaust! not just random fart can hanging at the bottom
any dragging issues yet?
Why not just pony up and get the downpipe and cat here:That makes sense. I guess I still need a straightpipe and a high flow cat right after it.
