Anyone putting black stripe instead of just nothing? I wanna play around with some ideas since when you get close it’ll just be an empty slit on the lower skirts where the stripe is gone

Over the course of the last year, I have changed my opinion. I used to think that the red stripes were extremely tacky, but after looking at CTRs with no stripes, I am starting to think that FOR ME removing the stripes would make the car less attractive. Too bland for my taste. Just my 2 yen.

Please let us know how that comes out -- would you have to use a heat gun to mold the shape of the tape in a circular shape around the wheel, or is the channel deep enough so that this shaping is not required? Just curious.

Vinyl tape is flexible and stretchable enough that you can just press it around a curve while putting it on. However, it was hard for me to get it to follow a perfectly circular path around the wheel. You can see some discontinuities that look like a bent rim. Maybe someone more experienced working with their hands can do a better job.

Sorry. Pics always sideways from this phone. Did 3M 1/4” matte black stripe on the skirts. Just put some 1/8” on the wheel stripe temporarily to see how I like it.
Love it. Going to see how long the pinstripe lasts. If it doesn’t I’m just going to pull the red stripes. Still thinking about a permanent solution for the wheels.

I replaced the red with white, but added red to some other areas like the diffuser "fins" and wing. The white is a little brighter and doesn't quite color match to CW but I think it makes it pop more.

I just put a front lip on my EX Hatch, it came with a red stripe to put on, but I'm looking for white. Where did you find this? I notice Autozone has a few colors, but no white.

Has anyone deleted the red stripe on the under spoilers?

Can it be removed or do I need to order some 3M 1/4 pinstripe and lay over the top?

I applied mine right over the oem pinstripe, didn’t want to mess with the oem pinstripe in case I wanted to go back the the original red.
