Guys,
Looking for some opinions as I'm looking to either plastidip my emblems black or on the other hand remove the Civic and Sport emblems. either way though, the H's will go black as they currently don't match anything on my sport.

Any Photoshop experts out there for comparison pics?

I have a sonic grey sport hatch, and I am planning on plasti dipping the emblems to see if I like them. If not, they are coming off.

I would red pinstripe the kit and wheels and Type R oem badge front and rear. TypeR shifter.. all TypeR emblems. TINT... Then oem TypeR spoiler when available. To an untrained eye? It would pass for a Type R. LoL and 16k less. Maybe muffler delete to sound like a Type R sorta kinda not but again.. Every pony cam vet wrx st ect ect ect on the road will give you extra attention. :D

what's the point of passing for a Type R if you can't keep up with one

Yeah im not one that likes to imitate a car that it is not. I'm leaning towards debadging the Civic and Sport and dipping the H's

I'll do probably the same on mine.
Was tempted by the red "H" emblem, but it would be "too much" :)

Did you see the new 2017 TypeR? Looks awesome right? Did you drive it? How fast did you go? My point some things can be Awesome by the way they look. Dressing up a sport in an oem tasteful way could be a head turner.

Yeah, I just picked up my sonic grey and will probably do the same now that I have seen yours. I am thinking about getting the gloss coating to more closely resemble the grill and ground kit. Did you leave the front H emblem chrome?

Thinking to plastidip black the chrome on my pearl black hatch. Also, remove the dealer name sticker at the back.

The dealership badge must go. I instructed my dealer before the car came in to not put one on there. Then when the car arrived at the dealership, I reminded them to not put one on there. On delivery day, the dealership badge (a vinyl decal) was on there!

They said they would remove it before delivery, then explained to me that they somehow took the paint off the car while removing it! If they had just not put it on there in the first place it would have been fine. Now they are shipping a painted rear panel to me and will pay me to get it installed locally.
