Comp told me that they sent you an email saying they would put in the 11 blade but won't warranty it?You can't have the 11 blade since it's vits wheel. I tried to get it... They told me the 6x6 performed better.. which was the opposite
Left graph is with the 27WON turbo, Right graph is with the stock turbo. Top lines are with ethanol, lower line is on 93 octane. Same car in both graphs, mods virtually the same, except the upgrade to the race MAF for the Cobra, with the turbo upgrade. So have we seen any results regarding the 27WON turbo then? What type of power does it make, what's the powerband like, how's the transient response, etc.? Forgive me if it's already been posted somewhere and I'm just blind.
Damn! That's really good! I'm surprised your internals are lasting. Too bad we only have 91 here.Left graph is with the 27WON turbo, Right graph is with the stock turbo. On the stock turbo, with an ethanol blend, the car made 290 WHP with about 348 WTQ. With the 27WON upgrade, it did 340 WHP with 352 WTQ on an ethanol blend. On 93 octane, the car did 250 WHP and 296 WTQ on the stock turbo, and 293 WHP and 295 WTQ with the turbo upgrade.
Not my car though. PRL's car is making 400 WHP, and their internals have held up so far. The turbo upgrades relieve some of the stress on the rods, since the powerband is shifted, and the low end doesn't have that sudden spike of torque.Damn! That's really good! SI rods are a tad thicker than other models and seems as though most dyno charts I have seen were from SI’s not other models which is interesting. Not my car though. It's partly because we haven't seen too many people willing to push the base models, especially without the turbo upgrades. I've seen 300 WTQ on the stock turbo, and heard of up to 330 WTQ also being made on a base 1.5T.SI rods are a tad thicker than other models and seems as though most dyno charts I have seen were from SI’s not other models which is interesting.
That's what I figured lol all of Drob's tunes are of SI's and Type R's but no Sports or any other model's. I wonder if any non SI has the 27Won turbo or not. Also heard DRob say he doesn't recommend any non SI use Comp's turbo and that 27Won would be best although torque maybe too much for the RodsIt's partly because we haven't seen too many people willing to push the base models, especially without the turbo upgrades. There are 3 or 4 non SI's that I know of that have the 27WON turbo. 27WON's own car apparently made 220 WHP and around 330 WTQ.That's what I figured lol all of Drob's tunes are of SI's and Type R's but no Sports or any other model's. Their 27Won Hatch made on'y 220Whp while their SI made up to 282whp and 302wtq on W1 Optimized 91 Pump tune? There are 3 or 4 non SI's that I know of that have the 27WON turbo. 27WON's own car apparently made 220 WHP and around 330 WTQ.
My bad, meant 320 WHP.Their 27Won Hatch made on'y 220Whp while their SI made up to 282whp and 302wtq on W1 Optimized 91 Pump tune?
Yes lol I am aware of that.Keep in mind those published numbers were generated on a notoriously high reading dyno.
