I've played with the idea of putting a set on the Sport hatch. The rotors won't swap over due to the bolt pattern being slightly larger on the R but I am sure there are other rotors that would work. My next concern would be the brake master cylinder, should that be swapped as well? I definitely want to upgrade my calipers but would prefer to not spend $1700 to do it.Has anyone considered swapping the Type R calipers onto there Si?
Something worth considering:Has anyone considered swapping the Type R calipers onto there Si?
If you want black you could go with a Wilwood setup since that is their default color. Powdercoating (or painting) a set of Brembos black is of course possible though.Waiting eagerly. Black Brembos with Red Letters saying brembo on a Rallye Red Si oohhhh yeh
Hmmm. Some red calipers might persuade me to finally powdercoat the OEM wheels on my red sedan gloss black.I believe you will see a set of Brembos on a non-R 10th gen by the the end of the week.
I am ready.
I wonder if Accord Pads will be cheaper than SI pads, for the same pad, minus, SI markup. The Si does. The Sport hatch does not.
It will just depend on if they share a part number or not I suppose.I wonder if Accord Pads will be cheaper than SI pads, for the same pad, minus, SI markup.
