Instead of doing a retrofit Integra/s2000 rotor or Genesis brembo/Rouge rotor swap, id like to purchase used Type R brembo fronts for my 19' SI from Ebay, My question before purchase is..

Can simply swap over the calipers and get type r rotors, or is it more complicated than that?
Hoping it's the same bolt patterns..

You need the right rotor specs.
You need to check if the mounting holes align.
Someone may have tried this and can provide additional info

Type R uses different lug pattern, 5x100 i beleive.
5x120
The lug pattern dont really matter as long as OP finds the right rotor specs with 5x114.3 pattern

Simple answer: it will never work.
Reason: difference in bolt pattern; 5x120 on CTR and 5x114.3 on non-CTR. Just stick with the proven research and avoid headaches.

Okay, simpler question, does the type R Brembo calipers fit the mounting bolts on the SI?

With enough time and money this CAN be accomplished, but I agree there's plug and play options like Wilwood and other kits that are proven and cheaper alternatives. Obviously I lean towards Wilwood for its ease of installation, weight reduction and stopping power.

Thanks for the input guys. Sucks because the type r brembos look better than the genesis ones.. any difference between the 27won calipers and wildwood, or are they pretty much the same?

from what i've seen the finish on the 27won is very thin so you have to be super careful with them as they will blemish and look like shit really quick. my plan is to have the wilwood 6pot kit on before spring.

I haven't seen that yet myself, @Thusee is around 40k miles with the 27WON BBK on his Si driven all-year round and his look pretty good

I had my 27won calipers ceramic coated and actually have almost 80,000 km on them with also being driven in winter as well.

I'm on My 2nd set of pads and have zero blemishes on them. Just like any other part if you take care of things they will last.

I'm now on my 3rd winter with them in Canada.
