*For off road use only. Find yourself a nice field or pasture, keep everyone safe and all.
Right. Right. Always safe to go 120 mph+ on grass/pasture. Pity those poor cows.

Not that i'm looking to test it lol, espcially since we're already getting snow here. But I'm curious, how safe do you think that might that be for a CVT? I'm talking more the safety of the engine/transmission instead of the nut behind the wheel at this point lmao.
One limiting factor for non-performance models could be the brakes. It doesn't take much to boil the brake fluid above 100 mph. In my Prelude when it was new, brake fade is there after just a few moderate braking above 110 or so.

Sport sedan 2.0L.
Gotten 132mph but took several miles to get there, plus seemed slightly uphill so wasn't sure if my top speed counted.

Factory speeds also limited by the tire's speed rating. I've never seen a car rated to go faster than what the tires are made for.

ECU limit at 137mph is coincidentally the top of of 5th gear at 6500rpm. After you tune to remove limit you can run 6th up another 30mph to 167 if you have enough power. 250whp+ should get you there. This is on 19' and previous, the '20 final drive gear ratio is little lower so each gear is a little less.
He's also probably asking about factory stock top speed. Si top speed is ~137 MPH. Yours must have some serious modifications to hit 167.

I'm sitting at 300Whp. As he said above though, top of fifth is the limit at 137, the top of sixth just needs to be unlocked which is 167, I'd honestly wager more a little.

Took a 01 Ford Focus to 120 without issues I’d hope something 16 years newer would be better.

Is there a speed limiter on civics? Sorry for newb question. Got to about 110 on toll road that's about it. Could easily gone more but don't want 5O attention. Maybe try on a country road in future. I'm sure the tuners can take it off but I thought there were limiters on most USA cars. I could just Google I suppose but might as well hear from experts.

I know you're talking about the hatch but I got 223 km/h on my non-si sedan when I was bone stock and it was obvious it had at least 5 kmh more, I just didn't have any road left at the moment! This is ~138 mph and I'm just saying I don't think EU models have a speed limiter..
