I purchased TopOneMotors' V2 functional vents for my Type R. Is there a video on removing the stock ones without removing the entire bumper? I dont have a shipping blanket to place it on the ground and dont want to scratch it.

Stick your finger on the top hole and feel for a tab and push. It pops out except for 1 on the bottom with a push pin thingy. As you pry outwards push the tabs in as they can spring out and scratch the bumper. Takes about 30 seconds.

If you have plastic trim removal tool, jam it in the areas where the tabs are. It’s not too difficult once you know where to stick the tool.

Below is a pic of my new horn with the vent removed. You can see where the tabs go.

Search for Hella Sharptone horns on amazon.com. Think they’re selling them for $28.

Is the install pretty straightforward plug and go? I've been wanting to replace the wussy sounding horn lol
