Hi, any advice would be helpful.
Im about to install new wheels on the R, but not sure waht size would b best.
Wheels are 19x9.5 and for now i would like to stay stock height. What size would cover the gap more without making the tire looking ridiculous.
Thank You.

I was in the same situation as you, I went with 255 35 19 Firehawk Indy 500 on a 19x9.5 +40 wheel, stock height as well! Hope this helps!

I have 255/35/18 Indy 500s on 8.5in RPF1.
For 9.5in I would go with 265, at least

Thank you for your input. Probably will go 265/35
265 is the right width for 9.5" wide wheel so as not to be stretched, but then the overall circumference is going to be bigger than stock. Going down to 30 profile throws it even more out of whack, that's why 19" is not a good size because tire choices are limited. Google a tire size calculator and compare specs (true circumference and revolutions per mile) of the stock tire to the tire you want, as different brands and models will have a different overall width and circumference even given the nominal specs.

I had 255 35 19 Firehawk Indy 500 on a 19x8.5" wheel and that was a good fit. I also had 255 35 18 on an 18x9.5" wheel - it was much shorter than stock so the speedo was way off and was stretched (Indy 500 is narrower than others for same 255 nominal width) so it looked super lame.

I spoke with you the other night about your wheels and was wondering did you get hit up with a crazy amount of import taxes and duties when you shipped your wheels from Canada? I am having to pay 419.00 to get them to me. Almost had a heart attack when customs came up with that amount.nanyway can you let me know what you paid?

Wow! I didn't have to pay any of that, I went through Tdot performance, great customer service.

What was your cost ? I paid 1300 but now total with duties and taxes will be 1720. Are they in the US ? Not sure what I can do but I am going to call UPS in the morning. Makes me sick.
