I’m going to get a 2019 Civic Sedan Touring, want to pull the trigger this week.

Anything I should know? Is $295 a month for 36K miles 36 months with $2,500 down (all-in) a good deal compared to what you got?

Thanks!

Cant comment much on the Sedan but I'm paying around 320 a month for 36 months 36k miles with 1000 down for my Si (Payed a little more on that per month because the Tonic Yellow Color I got it in they had to get from a dealership a few states over!) . Given that the Sedan Touring is around 2k more than the Si and you put down 1500 more than I did, I'd say you're getting a fair deal. Wouldnt say its great, but its fair. Though I'm no expert on these things.

Something to consider of you're comparing to the lease on an ILX...
The lease deals on the ILX are for only 10,000 miles a year and they require premium fuel.

The advertised lease deals you see may be quoted at 10K miles per year, but you can also lease for 12K or 15K with no problem. Obviously it will increase the payment amount though.

Definitely need to factor in that premium fuel cost though. In this area it is typically an extra $0.60 per gallon.

Some areas less of a factor. Where I am regular is $3.70 and premium is $3.90. 20 cent different at about 5% extra cost makes me feel fine with paying the extra to keep the turbocharged engine a little happier with a little better MPG and extra kick, even though premium not required.

That's the way it used to be around here too. When I had my '09 TL, each jump in grade was only $0.10, so the 20 cents extra wasn't a big deal. I turned it in at the end of the lease and didn't have another car that used premium until my '15 TLX, and at that point it was at $0.30 for each higher grade.

It won't keep me from driving a vehicle that requires premium, but at $0.20 extra instead of $0.60 a gallon, I could see where it may be a factor for someone.

What is the sticker price on the car? Sounds slightly high to me.

This is true, but I was referring to the advertised lease specials on the ILX; the advertised price is normally for 10k/year, and the discount may not apply on a 12k or more lease and would increase the cost significantly.

IMO, just ignore the advertised lease deals altogether. I've never had a case where I wasn't able to negotiate a better lease deal than the ones advertised. Invariably, the advertised deals end up being a base trim, with low mileage allowance, and fairly hefty down payments. Forget that noise.
