Civic hatchback si or type r with paddle shifters auto?

do you guys think that honda will developed a auto transmission for the new si or the new type r? Any thoughts? Thanks!

2012 Ford Focus SEL HB, waiting on Civic hatch to be released
With the SI and Type R being "enthusiasts" cars I don't see an automatic in their future especially the TYPE R

Honestly I think a good DCT with paddles would make an amazing SI. At least have that as an option.

You mean like the non-purist/car guys that drive Porsches, Ferraris, etc. with DCT/DSG/etc.? Perhaps because some other factor precluded them from buying a manually shifted car?
