I added dynamat where the spare wheel should be, the drone is a little lower, but it’s still there.

But the past few days that I’ve been driving it, the drone has gone down a lot compared to the first day it was installed... Not sure if there’s a break-in period after install or because of the cold weather or maybe I’m going deaf. I took my gf to visit my parents on lunar new year, she didn’t complain at all while cruising on the freeway. There’s little to no drone while cruising...

The exhaust definitely sounds great. Deep tone, not ridiculously loud, and looks great! During shifts the exhaust sounds like it wants to crackle but can’t.

installed!!!! no vids yet but vids dont do this exhaust justice because theres just so much bass in the drone. so throaty and growls like a subwoofer i love it.

.... Can you do a drive by vid later.? I want to hear how it sounds because of the stupid law in California. I dunno if it's much louder than a muffler delete I had before.

its loud in the city and quieter on the highways. i find myself downshifting more so i can hear that bass filled drone more.

id suspect you may be pulled over for this one in california.

my friends already have told me they heard me very well from inside their homes when i pulled up to their houses. love it.

So far California hasn't been an issue. I've passed cops and even drove next to one, I've gotten stares from them, but I think it's more because of my splitter and canards, than the sound of my exhaust. This was all in LA area... Although, it might be a different story if I were to drive in Irvine since cops have nothing better to do over there...

i cant wait for my road trip in a few months. taking the Si down to Irvine, cops cant ticket me since my car is registered in TX.

Any chance of some videos with the HKS installed? Just ordered a catted dp and fp from 27won. Hoping it’s not too loud.

Love mine paired with the HKS coilovers with bypass. I've posted a video of it on the Facebook group already.

I’m looking to get the HKS exhaust for my Si sedan, I wanted to see if anyone had fitment issues with the exhaust connecting to the stock front pipe. Apparently the factory front pipe studs are welded on and I did not want to remove those if possible, I seen some people had issues with the studs being off so I wanted to make sure this wasn’t the case with the HKS exhaust.
