I abhor dump trucks on single laned roads. Pickup truck drivers constantly feel threatened by my wing or something, because it's not uncommon to see one race me when I had no intention of doing so to begin with.

Tell me about it!! Everytime I see a pickup truck they be doing the most .. literally always up my ass or someone else’s like if they could run you over Or another person they would do it..

I lost a match with a gardener's unsecured load  from a pickup on the other side of a two-lane road. Luckily just a plastic flowerpot that caused no damage ultimately, but still.

Then 2 minutes later, a rock from a Durango flies up and cracks my windshield. FML I hate today

Sorry to hear about that .. a month or two ago a big rock few at an angle and hit the driver bottom side of my windshield while on the highway.. (keep in mind I was going 60-65 mph ) when I heard the loud pop i was sure my windshield would’ve cracked. As I was driving I kept looking around to see the impact but couldn’t find a scrape or pit. Nothing until I got to work I saw that it hit the blacked out portion of the bottom of the windshield.. luckily it was just some minor surface scratches. I’ve had so much bad luck with my hatch that for a couple days or weeks after that happened I wanted to trade it in or just return it .. like it feels like I’m always attracting bad things that always end up damaging my car.

Oh yeah, taxi drivers are probably the absolute worst. I honestly don't understand how they are able to legally drive. They are notoriously veering in my lanes. They are one of the few drivers I will actually stick my hand clearly out of the window with a strong middle finger perfectly directed at them.

Haven’t been to dc in a while but yea taxi drivers there or In any city seem to always be the most reckless or second reckless drivers

Watch out for flatbed trailers carrying any construction equipment and also roll off containers. These pieces of equipment are used in gravel lots mostly and are not cleared before loading onto a truck. Just keep your distance if you can, and pass quickly if possible.

Oh yea def .. the 04 civic I had last year got hit by a launched rock from a flatbed trailer I was soooooo mad .. this is where my paranoia came from .. I hate being around these trucks or any work vehicle cuz of that.

Altima drivers are by far the worse - at least here in Maryland -- a good 90% drive like they have a death wish.

seem to be but honestly to me Virginia drivers seem to not know how to drive at all or just don’t have any turn signals installed in they cars. Sure Maryland May have bad drivers or reckless but Virginia got some clueless ones.

I have noticed a ton of trucks on the roads lately. The economy has been killer for the past few years so there is a lot of construction. It's good for growth but terrible for my poor SI. It's so frustrating taking hours to detail to perfection, just to get slopped by mud from a the roads off of construction site. It's really bitter sweet. I love the new paved roads, but not the tar that inevitably gets thrown on my delicious WOP paint.

My favorite is all the dried piles of cement at traffic lights.

I'll happily be five minutes late to my own funeral if it means I have to stay 500 feet back from a truck hauling construction debris. The mattresses and furniture in the road are a nice touch too.

LOL!! The mattress and furniture issue is real around here. We have pretty terrible road cleans ups too. Windshield glass, tire shreds, torn apart bumpers from wrecks are notoriously left at the scene until it just "washes away". I saw a car on fire a few months ago in Johnston County on Highway 70 and went back a couple of weeks after the incident and saw the charred remains still sitting there on the side of the road?? Also, who is honestly going to stay back an entire football field from these dump truck assholes? That still wouldn't account for the debris bouncing after it hits the ground. Yesterday morning I was being a garbage truck literally pouring out bags of trash from the back of it. I hate the city. I want to save a bunch of money and just early retire in Boone. Cheap and the town is pretty clean for the most part.

I try to minimize my time in anyone's "blind spot". In that way, they can't merge into me easily.

We also have a Jeep. Stay back from these guys, because after going off-road it takes a while to throw all the gravel and stones out of the Jeep treads.

An Interstate near me is notorious for terrible tractor trailer drivers. I try to be courteous and give them room but holy shit, some of them are insane. A few weeks ago, the guy right behind me in an Expedition was run off the road at 75 MPH b/c a truck came over with no warning. Literally dozens of deaths each year in this area on the roads, and they're all car + tractor trailer. Scary.

I agree. When I see an Altima I assume there will be damage somewhere on the car - it's strange how often that is actually the case. Something about the cost, availability, and looks gets a certain type of driver to buy them.

Since posters mentioned about Altimas come to think of it a lot don’t have a straight panel on them it’s kind of like a big bumper car

I think you have hit on something there ---

Totally AMAZING how much white smoke come out of an open car window, when someone is VAPING inside the car.

If they do NOT have a windows fully open, I would imagine that the car gets so full of white smoke, that they cannot see out --- could explain a lot !!!
