Drop to 4th for mild acceleration and 3rd for wild. Just be aware of the rpms you should be attempting to match. When in doubt, maybe drive conservatively. My quick and dumb logic is 1000rpm up per downshifted gear. But check the speed vs rpm table here

I’m about down with all my mods. Just waiting a proper tune. Don’t think I’ll be touching anything else for a long time.

Almost forgot, cruise control can do rev match. Enable and set cruise in 6th, put clutch in and move to 5th....revs should jump before you let out the clutch. I would assume it can do the same for other gears within reason.

But being this is a 2018 Civic Hatchback Sport, the most powerful engineof the civic models, and would blow your clutch clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?

Paid $960 for my clutch/flywheel combo. And $500 for install.

Do you think its worth getting the clutch/flywheel combo? Which combo did you get? I figured if youre getting a clutch installed, might as well upgrade the flywheel while youre at it.

I feel it’s worth it. Went with SPEC 2+ And their steel flywheel. Rpm drop quicker with single mass.

Thought I would revive an old thread before starting a new one. I want to know more prices people have been charged for installing a clutch. I don't care about material cost. Labor only. So far it seems to be all over the place. When I meet with a mechanic this coming up week to talk about switching out my clutch and would like to know what is a fair price range. I am thinking between $600 and $800. Sound about right?

A friend of a friend has a small neighborhood shop with a lift and just charged me $400 labor. I think I got a steal!
