I was trying to change my turn signal to LED and this (first pic) happened, then I tried to get the bulb out and then second photo happened.

I’m pretty sure I have to take off the whole front bumper to get the light assembly.

Yep. Bumper off. headlight off, turn and shake. Happened to me when I was cleaning up my HID relay harness wiring and I was unplugging stuff. Fortunately for me, I already had the bumper off at the time.

Can you stick a curved hemostat in and snag it? I know there's not a lot of clearance right behind the housing on the drivers side... just thinking it might be possible. That or something a curvy.. .snakey thing... even a bent hanger with some very sticky gorilla tape on the end... wrapped in such a way it WILL NOT come off... to touch the thing and try to get it back toward the hole to then grab it with a curved hemostat is what I'd try first.

Go through the headlight port as I'd think it'd be bigger to get it out... er… is that what you did...?

Anyways... yeah... it sucks... but if this is the worst thing you ever do to a car... you're doing O-K.

There are a number of tools at auto parts stores that may work for this.

The magnet on a telescoping antenna may have some value. Then there's the retractable claw thingy on a goose neck.

Go to Lowes/Home depot and buy some small hose (plumbing department), find a car wash, and seal the hose to their vacuum with duct tape and go for it.

Good luck.

I'd just trade the car in. It's easier

I tried the magnet on the second bulb no sticking. I tried to do it with vacuum but the hose was too big i will check out Lowes/Home Depot. I think this might be the best thing to do aside from taking the headlight off.

I was thinking maybe using a narrow stick/rod wrap it with double sided tape and fish in there and slowly pull it out.

Unfortunately I didn’t have any tools for that. I think I will try the vacuum idea. I have one in the garage just need to get the right size hose.

The tygon tube/hose stuff is on spools in the Home Depot/Lowe's. They sell it by the foot where the plumping stuff is... Lowe's is almost always in the back right corner for all the ones I've ever been in (they seem to all have the same layout)

Lunar Silver Metallic owners just pay the lawn boy to do this type of manual labor.
