First off, I know this isn't a drag race car... but if I was trying to get the best 0-60 or 1/4 mile times, what are the optimal points to make the shifts? Is it redline for every gear?

I believe the max HP/torque drop slightly prior to redline. So would shifting before that be better?

Generally redline is correct, although, depending on the skill of the driver and the grip of the tires, shifting before redline in 1st and maybe 2nd might result in faster acceleration in the real world because this car (especially with a tune) can spin 1 and 2 easily.

Are the shift lights programmed for redline or are they programmed for optimal acceleration?

My butt dyno believes this wholeheartedly.

typically you want to shift about 200-250rpm past peak horsepower. gearing plays a part, but in a street car it's so minuscule that you'd have to be an expert driver to take advantage of the optimal 50-100rpm differences between gears
