What kind of tool do I need to replace the Engine Air Filter on 2016 Touring?

I have heard from a lot of people that we aren’t supposed to be using a screwdriver to replace the air filter in the engine bay. I think we can strip the screws if using a screwdriver. Can anyone tell me what kind of tool am I supposed to use? I don’t have any ratchets or anything. It would be great if you could also be specific about the size of the tool required. I’ll go get them from the store today.
