I’ve decided to run my FK8 during the winter. Being realistic we get maybe 2 weeks of snow here and it’s not heavy.

The rest of the time it’s just cold and wet.

I’m considering running Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on stock wheels, stock size - these will continue to be my winter wheels.

Anyone running these tyres - thoughts or input please.

Hey Gavin,

I’ve decided to run insurance on my CTR year round. Funny thing is that I just picked up some Michelin PS AS4’s for it on some 18” TC4 Advan Racing wheels. I was in Surrey last night and there was a couple cm’s of some slush and puddles of water everywhere. The PS AS4 handle great in the rain and so so in the snow. I have them for my Tesla Model 3 as well and great for wet weather tire. You’ll be okay in Vancouver weather with the AS4’s. I’ve also used AS3+ tires before and they were fine in the wet and cold…AS4’s are just as good or better in dry and wet.

Traction in the dry is definitely not as good as the summer Conti tires and I can easily spin the AS4’s in 3rd and chirp them in 4th gear.
