Seat Swap Possible?

Does anyone know if the Type R drivers seat frame is the same as the Si of the same year or generation?

Do they share the frame is the question?

they do not share the same frame, but all front seats are interchangeable on the 10th gen civics. heated seat function must be wired in to be in use with an ac control panel that has the buttons.

I’m dumb and don’t follow you.
The frames are not the same frame but all of the front seats in the Gen10 family are all interchangeable?
So if I pull the Si seat, with the frame and base altogether and swap all the same with a CTR, it will bolt right in?

I think the seat bracket is the same, so the whole assembly is a direct fit

the inside frame of the seat is different, maybe that’s what he meant

I see them as different part numbers on my end, but the whole seat will swap over.
