My FK8 went in for a service and MOT a couple of days ago. When I went to drive away I adjusted my rear view mirror and I noticed that it didn’t feel solidly attached. It feels like it wobbles when you move it. I thought this seemed odd an I’m sure it didn’t do this before although I can’t say for sure. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix? Is it possible to remove the trim and tighten it? Any help/advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Don't need to remove any trim. It's held on by a torx screw.

Thanks for the info, is this from a workshop manual? Not sure if the FK8 in the US is different to the U.K. but there is a plastic cover over the base of the rear view mirror. It may be like this behind that cover, does anyone know how to remove the plastic cover with out damaging it?
