How do you feel about the Avid wheels? They seem super cheap. I am about to go with the AV06 but damn $588 shipped for a set? I'm hoping they're just heavy and not weak. I put a lot of miles on my car! Not too concerned about an increase in weight if I can keep the cost down and they last a long time.

You want cheap, strong and lighter than stock?... Motegi Wheels. Specifically check out the MR145, MR146, MR140... all $150 - $200 each. These are the 3 lightest wheels that come in black (I wanted black wheels so I only researched those, but their website has the weight of all of their offerings)

I have no issues with them. Even driving through pothole riddled LA streets. Sometimes I’ll hit a pothole that I didn’t see and it’s one of those where you clinch your teeth because it sounded painful. In my head I’m like “yup this is the one that dented my wheel” but nope no damages so far. They look just as new as when the day I bought them, about a year ago. Indy 500 tires are holding up beautiful as well, still grip the road extremely well.

Thank you for the detailed reply man, that's awesome! I'm glad they've help up well for you. I absolutely hate those potholes, it feels like it goes up your spine!! I wince every time lol.

It seems like the few other opinions I've gotten about them are the same. Not sure why there is the stigma that they're too cheap to be a good wheel. They look great without breaking the bank, and as long as they hold up to the oh so fantastic roads here in upstate NY seems like a clear choice to me. Thanks again!

Looking to get these ESR SR05's in 18x9.5 with 35 offset. Do you think there would be any rubbing issues on a non-hatchback sedan? Or would I be better off going 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in back?
Has anyone seen these in red of blue spokes?

I actually was about to get a black 10th gen si sedan until I found this red coupe. But if I had a black car I'd rock some mag blue wheels for sure. I'm actually thinking once the si is paid off I'd love a black type-r on mag blue volks.

I didn't get any shots of how flush they are but believe me they are flush. I'll have pics of that soon so if anyone is wondering just reply to my message and I'll add more pics. Just got them on this weekend.... Can't stop drooling.
