What exactly is the splash shield??
It's a thin metal piece that covers the bottom of your engine,held on by two Phillips and several 1/4 twist screws.
It has to be removed for oil changes and other stuff that requires access to the bottom of the engine.

Wow I didn't know that was an optional part.
Seems like something that should be standard.

Would anybody know the thread size for the front two screws. I was at the dealer today and they could not find the part number. Mine are missing and i have a zip tie keeping it in place
