Mugen Rear Under Spoiler FK7 on FK8

Curious if anyone has installed Mugen rear under spoiler (side pieces) made for 5D Hatchbacks FK7 on their CTR? Not a big fan of the FK8 Mugen rear under spoiler (too aggressive for my taste).

Bumpers are totally different. They won’t fit. Anything can be made to fit anything. But you really going to hack into a perfectly good part just to make it fit?

Just curious if anyone has installed them on a CTR and if it’s a direct fitment. Only inquiring about the side pieces, not looking to install the center defuser. I searched through the forum and didn’t find any references.

Kingmotorsports website has it listed it would fit a CTR but not sure if that is a true statement.

yeah It should fit fine without the diffuser.

Yeah it will fit a CTR, those pieces reuse one push clip that is right under that side of the rear, and 3M tape. I don't see why it wouldn't fit.

I bought it , with the OEM diffuser and Mugen Rear Difusser , I could not get it to fit. I wanted the middle piece to fully round out the rear.

Now if someone cut it , and could make fiberglass wider to fit over OE diffuser , I think it could work. I did not go down that route as the cost of the fab work , was more than the diffuser itself.

@Scrapdog, thanks for the confirmation. bummer it is not a direct fitment. do you have any pictures of the side pieces where fitment is an issue?

Just got my 5 piece mugen rear underbody spoiler from kings Motorsport but the instructions is in japanese.
Any tips on how to put this one or where I can find the English version?

Back from the dead

Finally got around to installing my Mugen lip kit. Pics below for those who are curious what the rear looks like with just the rear spats (without the Thanos chin). I may install the remaining rear pieces down the road but for now I like how the rear looks, less aggressive in my opinion.

Looking good. Are you stock height? How much less clearance with the kit installed?

Thanks. Stock height. Front lip and side lips have roughly 5” of clearance from the ground and rear spat is 7”.
