This was on a 150 mile trip to Tennessee from North Carolina.

Wow, that's the best I've seen so far. Since it's not a round trip, do you think you had factors like altitude and wind helping you in that particular trip? Also, I see that you have a 1.5L EX-T which has better mileage than 2.0L EX or LX. But still, that's impressive!

I got 8.6 mpg going from the car wash across the street to the redbox machine. That was my worst trip. But counting real driving my worst trips are around 28 mpg for a two mile ride to lunch with four passengers and AC blasting. I've done this a few times, no A/C makes those trips high 30's, and slowing down i can get high 40's around town. My worst highway tank was 39.18, I was doing 80+ the whole time with five people in the car and hundreds of pounds of luggage in the trunk.

Wow that is incredible I never even thought about Civics reaching 70+mpg now I wonder how well the 2.0L NA would do with a similar long distance trip

I'm about to do a long trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco and I'm very excited with how well I'll do. My plan is to stay 55-60 mph with ECON and cruise control on.

With an LX rental from Atlanta GA to Niagara Falls NY I averaged 48mpg at 70mph for the trip up. Including lots of driving around town up there and a weekend of driving around the Great Smokey Mountains national park on the way back (two days with lots of time in S and L mode) the total for the entire trip was 43mpg. I only took it on my work commute in Atlanta for one day, in which I averaged 32mpg, but my daily driver Nissan Altima 3.5 SE averages 19mpg on the same commute (it averages about 33mpg hwy to give you an idea how bad my commute is). Not bad at all.
