Lowering springs.

What’s up everybody, I got a stock suspension si, just bought some 18x9.5 inch wheels + 38 offset and 255-35 tires. From what I’ve read, fender gap will be bigger since the sidewall on these tires are slightly smaller than the 40 stock. I’m looking to lowering the car with lowering springs. Don’t want to buy coilovers, and will be installing myself. Anyone running this wheel/tire set up and what springs are you running? I want minimal rubbing, or none of possible. I like the eibach Brand, Pro kits seem to be a popular one, but don’t know if the pro kits Are going to give me enough drop. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You'll be totally fine with 18x9.5 +38 wheels and 255/35 tires with the Eibach Prokit springs. A lot of members on this forum run that exact setup.
