Kicker Hideaway HS10 Install Issue

I installed 2 of these subwoofers and they work great. But now I'm getting a banner message on start-up that something is interfering with the system's ability to acquire its location. It says to check the following: be in an open area (not the problem), remove the source of interference like metallic window tint above the antenna or electrical items near the antenna (not the problem), restart the engine and repeat the gps acquire procedure. If problem persists, see your dealer. The car doesn't have a gps, so unless this is just an emergency "tracker" gps this shouldn't be a problem. Dealer says we have to remove the subs. Anyone have a idea what I should do?

I've had that once after removing the HU. Turns out someone (me) forgot to plug the GPS wire into the back of the HU upon re-install. If I remember correctly it is the bottom wire on what ends up being the passenger side of the back of the HU. It's small and got missed in the mess of wires that lives back there.
