Introducing myself and CTR

Hi Guys,

I’ve been lurking around this forum for quiet sometime and I have learn a great deal about this car from this forum.

I have been eyeing this car since 2016 but due to having a child and life changes. I finally pulled the trigger. 2019 Crystal Pearl Black Type R #24852. This car will be a daily except during the winter. I still have my 2009 Toyota Tacoma.

Currently at the shop...1 step paint correction, full front clear bra, 4 layers of ceramic paint protection, and 35% tint.

Nice dude! I just got my 2019 CBP CTR too, #24843. I also got full frontal clear bra and a Ceramic Pro Gold package done last week - it looks awesome! The toughest part is the 2 weeks that I'm told you have to wait after the ceramic is applied before washing it (to let it fully harden).

Post pictures once the tint is done - I'm curious how it looks. Otherwise, congrats!

I believe the rear windows are at 70% from the factory. There is a equation I found for tint that if you apply a 50% and it’ll come out to roughly 37-38 depend on the film.

Nice our cars are only 9 apart.

Welcome aboard! The first thing I did with my CTR was get PPF and Ceramic Coating on it as well.

A buddy of mine dropped his car off at the same shop today. He snapped this picture for me.

Should be ready by Friday. I had requested 35% front and 50% rear on tint but the guy they contracted did 30% Suntek film all the way around. Looks good in the pictures but I’ll make the judgment later. The front signal also got smoked out.
