2019 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback. I do all my own oil changes every 5000-7500 miles and this time I get under my car and see what appears to be transmission fluid? I’m not sure what it is exactly but it’s coming from 2 locations. The oil plug and filter are perfect as it appears to be coming from the CVT transmission. I just hit 57,000 miles. Any thoughts or insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

That's a real head scratcher. I've got a 2016 1.5T and also do my own oil changes and did the transmission fluid flush a few years back. I dont recall seeing that black cover under mine. Only thing I can think of is u possibly have a slow leak and it looks clear.

Hmmm it is for sure oil seems like CVT fluid try cleaning it up and drive it around for a couple of more miles and see it drips out from that location. If you want try taking it too a good transmission shop around you they most likely will do a free diagnostic.

This was my oil leak from the CVT oil pan just want to show it for color reference of the oil.

Much thanks! I updated the post with pictures. Let me know if you see anything else that’ll help me narrow it down.

Hard to say tbh because I have about the same amount of dirt around the same area might be old motor oil or old road debri

Looking like rear main seal to me. Compare the leaking fluid to your engine oil ( just use dipstick to compare smell/ color & viscocity ).

Did you end up figuring out what was the issue ?
I noticed a small leak around that area and now it got bigger! Your response will be appreciated

No way, is the leak worse now? Do you occasionally add transmission fluid

Dang, that’s definitely worse than mine. I don’t have any fluid pooling on the tray. No mine hasn’t gotten worse, and yeah I added a very small amount to top off the cvt fluid just in case that’s the problem.
