Has Anyone Upgraded Their Stock Brake Roters To The New 2020 Two Piece One's?

It's time to replace my front brake roters and I'm thinking about going with the 2020 two piece roters. Who's done this and or do you think it's worth the additional price?

There's been a few members that have done the upgrade but only because w retailer in the UK shipped them for $250 for a pair. At normal prices of ~$500 for a pair, I don't see the point. Afaik no one has tested the durability of them. You may as well spend an extra couple hundred on the giro discs and get a product that has been proven to last upwards of 30 track days.

The '20 rotors are semi-floating and use aluminum hats. These provide better heat dissipation and are lighter than the factory one piece rotors that came on '17 through '19 Type Rs.

Have not upgraded yet but definitely will when the time comes.

I swapped them out not too long ago and I weighed them to be 2lbs lighter than the 1pc rotors.

Was going to go with Girodisc but didn't want to drop 1600 for the front and rear set.

The price is only about 350ish shipped from Tegiwa, so might as well go for them vs stock.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't realize they're 2lbs lighter than the 1 pc. I'll be replacing mine in a few weeks and will go with 2pc.

I have a few pairs of the new 2020 front rotors for sale at $500 a pair delivered. I like to know who in the UK has them for $250 a pair, that is not what I had to pay but I got shipping for free because they went in another shipment of mine.

They're about 350ish delivered from Tegiwa. Takes about 3 days by DHL express

I just looked at Tegiwa and they are 282 pounds which comes out to roughly $380 in dollars. I would think shipping is at least $100 making them almost $500 shipped to the U.S. . Unless they just happened to have free shipping.

I stand corrected. I just used the Tegiwa shipping calculator to California and it comes to 267 pounds total which is about $360.
