I have a ‘20 Sport Sedan with the “mid grade” sound system. If I am adding an LC7i and an AC-4.300 and upgrading the front (C1-650) and rear (DB6502) speakers is it worth replacing the skinny (20 ga?) factory speaker wires? I know “size matters” and larger AWG wire passes more/cleaner signals, but not sure if it is beneficial? Changing out the rear to 18 ga will be very simple, but the fronts will be a little bit of work. Once this is all installed I’ll determine whether I “need” a sub, which is a big part of the reason for the LC7i.
