  1. Rear Window Defroster Not Working

It could be the fuse. But it is a special group fuse. I am not entirely sure how to test it. See the photos below.
  2. Extra Key Fob Stolen, reprogram Civic fob ID?

I think instead of reprogramming the one FOB you have, they would program your car's computer to delete the stolen FOB. Of course you should then buy a new one so you have spare and then program the computer to the new FOB, and change the lock as well.
  3. Should you use a crossover after installing tweeters?

It's difficult to match speakers. I prefer to buy matched sets.
  4. Should you use a crossover after installing tweeters?

So, if you didn't remove the cross-over, you don't need technically need to add one. However, the existing cross-over may not be the best match for your tweeter. But if it sounds good to you, that's all that matters. :-)
  5. Random No Crank-No Start Issue

Second guess is the starter relay. Third is the starter itself (possibly due to oil leak.) Check this thread: (5) 2016 civic starter relay location | 2016+ Honda Civic Forum (10th Gen) - Type R Forum, Si Forum - CivicX.com
  6. Random No Crank-No Start Issue

My guess is battery. It's start the first time because the battery has been sitting and has had time to recover a bit. When you try start it quickly with no delay, the weak battery doesn't have time to recover.
  7. Accidental Reset Maintenance Minder

Do you keep receipts of all services performed? That would help you create a list of services performed and not performed. You would have to manually keep track of when they are needed based on average number of miles or time between services.
  8. 2018 Honda Civic Sport Hatch gas/fuel door not opening

When you pulled on the wire in the trunk, did it feel like it moved the mechanism? If so, maybe you need a second person to try to pry open the door while you are pulling the wire.
  9. Speaker issues

Speakers can't make the sound that loud if the volume is only at 1%. Sounds like an issue with the head unit or amplifier. Have you tried reboot the head unit? If that doesn't work, try removing the 18,19, and 20 fuses in the engine compartment for a few minutes, then putting them back to...
  10. Replacement cabin air filter cover?

I have bought used parts on ebay many times. Just read the description carefully to make sure it fits your exact model and check the sellers rating.
  11. Car sputtering and lost power

PCV is recommended at 100K miles. American Civic engines have a timing chain, not a timing belt. Shouldn't need to be changed unless it is noisy.
  12. Got a check engine light

You could have swapped the plugs before buying new ones.
  13. Got a check engine light

Are 3rd party injectors available? Also, did you try the simpler solution of changing the plugs and coil? You can swap 2 plugs with the coil and see if the misfire error moves with the plug/coil.
  14. Tail lights not fully functioning.

Check the voltage to ground (to a bolt on the body of tbe car) of each pin when the light should be on. (Bulb disconnected.) It should 12-14V for each pin but one, which is the ground.
  15. Tail lights not fully functioning.

Maybe there is corrosion on the connections to the bulbs. That's where I would start.
  16. A/C Delete

What about when your windshield fogs up? Isn't the AC used for that? Or does not get that humid in N.S.?
  17. Advice on hood repair.

I have used touch up paint from Honda many times. If you do it carefully, it isn't noticeable at a distance. Of course, up close you will still see it.
  18. U0100 Codes and ECU Shenanigans

    Thanks for confirming!
  19. Every warning light on after fluid change

Yes, I agree. Unplugging the battery for a while will reset the computer. Driving a few miles will allow the computer to make sure everything is working.
