So I've been tuned for around 20k miles. Total is 50k on the car, but I have no idea what the previous owner did with this car. I'm assuming he also had it tuned.

Would it be necessary to change out the spark plugs?

Honestly, if your car is running fine you can wait a bit. On the other hand, @50K it wouldn't be a terrible idea to change them. Depending on the tune you run you may want to gap them slightly tighter then the stock gap.

Side note: Add an update post to the tune reliability thread when you can. You were at 15K when you last posted in the summer. Thanks.

Oh will do. Do you have a suggestion as to what an appropriate gap is for a tuned vehicle?

For your non-Si on the 1.5R, .028" should be fine.
