DIY Intercooler upgrade?

Hey, apologies if there's a good thread on this already, but I just got a PRL intercooler + charge pipes and am curious whether or not it's a good idea to install myself, bearing in mind that I am not super mechanically experienced. Most I've done to a car is oil changes and an alternator a long time ago... Thanks!

Honestly its pretty straightforward if you know how fo follow a guide, so pretty easy although it would help if you had a second hand
