Might want to use these instead of safety wire. That outer wrap looks like basalt, can be abrasive and abrade the wire and / or the wire may crush the fibers under vibration.

FINALLY got my MAP silicone rad hoses. Just straight up cancelled my order for Mishimoto’s because MAP replaces all 3 hoses instead of 2. Look and feel great. Hope to get the radiator in this Wednesday. Anyone out there running the Spoon 160* FK7 Thermostat? Slightly interested as we another addition to the cooling journey.

I assume this replaces the fuel hardliners with braided ones? Says it increases fueling flow. Who wants to take the plunge?

Yes it goes from the tank to the fuel rail I believe, they also have a pump adapter to upgrade the fuel pump.

Koyo Radiator went in. Took about 4 1/2 hours because here in the NE, the hoses and lower hoses of the radiator are STUCK. It took most of the effort getting them off. Pretty straightforward though. No pictures along the way as it was…frustrating. Cooling with fresh coolant and the Koyo has been greatly improved. Took almost 15 minutes post thermostat opening for the fans to kick on. That’s a huge improvement meaning all the traffic I dive in won’t take as much of a toll. The radiator itself is about 50% thicker over stock. Very nice addition.
