If its much of a boost leak you will hear it. I had a catch can on my 2014 FIST. The tech at the dealership forgot to close the drain valve (0.25 bore). You hear it and it drives like it is running on a valet key.

Bought a Greddy DDR. It is the TARDIS of exhaust systems. Fairly loud on the outside, tooth shatteringly loud inside the car. Literally had trim pieces that never made a peep start buzzing and rattling. Bought the internals for a couple of Supertrapp 4" mufflers, used Nomex felt as the packing...
I'm struggling to figure how there is enough communication between the clutch circuit and brake circuit to transfer near boiling fluid from the brake circuit to the clutch circuit, even though they share a common (plastic) reservoir.

I assume you are taking about non Si 1.5l engines. Otherwise you're statement is technically incorrect.
You didn't specify so I needed to add this post.

I'm also pretty sure the chassis in white they start with have zero sound insulation in them.
The insulation you can't get in a VIN number car is likely irrelevant.

0W20 Mobile One Extended Performance High Mileage (it has more zinc and phosphorus in it than the standard E.P.)
K&N Gold filter. Useful information about oil filters marked made in USA, Champion Labs (Albion and West Salem IL)probably makes near half the oil filters in the U.S.

A useful answer would probably require knowing to what spec you are preparing the car to?
HPD's turnkey Si weighs about 2600lbs. It has a cage and one seat. Most of instrument panel appears to be replaced.
That may be a starting point for calculating weight savings.

Check/ change engine oil. Ditto transmission. If nether are chunky and/or metallic gray, consider yourself lucky and drive on.
Oh, and don't do that again!

Question. Why do E.U. Honda Civics with a 1.5l turbo engine have a choice of three (if I recall correctly) different viscosity grades listed in their owners manuals and the U.S. manual specifies one (the lowest viscosity). Note, the prevailing climate in a substantial portion of the contintal...
They could shim the O.D. to 54mm. Not much different from gutting the strut and inserting a cartridge. That would probably be a Holland thing to do but Koni NA should be able to do that also since they can rebuild Sport units on site.

Had a Fiesta ST that had a stepper motor gear box go bad in the dashboard. Kinda sounded like that. It would come and go depending on what the HVAC system thought it needed to do.

I'm pretty sure I can change oil and filter every 3k miles for quite some time (myself) before I spend more than what it costs to rebuild/replace a little tightly wound, turbocharged, Honda 4 cylinder engine (can't do myself). Just doing the beer math here.

Might want to use these instead of safety wire. That outer wrap looks like basalt, can be abrasive and abrade the wire and / or the wire may crush the fibers under vibration.
