Rotated the tires/wheels today in my garage using two jacks and two stands.
I closely inspected the steel wheels and noticed a balancing mark on each wheel. Each tire was positioned with its red dot adjacent to the wheel mark. This mark was also highlighted with a yellow sticker.
"U5X ." was imprinted on each wheel adjacent to the yellow sticker and red dot.
This mark may allow for the best balance with the minimum weight.
I've always noticed that the balancing from the factory is typically a bit better than that provided when mounting new tires.
These wheel marks may offer an advantage.
