I did consider 18’s but I’m sticking with the stock suspension. I would go 18’s if I lowered the car.
I’m searching for 19’s with stock like spec and look good with oem height.
I understand.
However, be aware that many of us were NOT going to lower the car and ended up doing so. Either way the 19s will work but the wheel and more importantly, the tire options in 18in are hard to turn away from.

I think 19's look a lot more proportioned but like everyone is saying, the tire choices are abysmal.

I think on stocks, you should be able to get away with 265/35/19 if your offset is higher than 45 and width is less than 9.5.

I'm on H&R's and on 255/35/19. When my suspension is fully compressed, I can barely stick a piece of paper between the fender and tire. I've driven the car HARD on very rough roads and it hasn't rubbed once. So that gives you an idea of the fender's limit without any modification.

There are plenty of people with this setup, we have a full dedicated wheel thread too in the tires/suspension/wheels subforum too.

In short 19x8-9.5 with a 35-60 offset is recommended. Tire sizes depend on the width, but a 35 aspect ratio is typically what you'll end up with. So 235-265/35/19 is likely what you'd run for tires. Note that 245/35/19 has the same outer diameter as the stock 245/30/20; it's also the tire size for the FK2 and FK8 sport line.

I'm running OZ Ultraleggera HLT 19x8.5 +53 offset wheels with and 245/35-19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. There is another Type R in in town running the same setup - a white 2020 CTR that I seen at the Whole Foods parking lot couple times.

More sidewall over the OEM wheels has helped a lot on the mean streets of Durham, NC. Looks like Tire Rack has these wheels on sale right now (22% off) if that makes a difference.

A larger sidewall does indeed help with poorly maintained streets. Chicagoland, IL isn't that great either ? I was running 245/40/18 Michelin PS AS3+, but currently running PS AS4s due to a nail.

Not lowered - all stock. Handling is very good. It takes the razor edge off of the 20's, but still very responsive. The added sidewall makes it much more livable as a daily driver, especially in comfort mode.
