"Attackers only needed a few easily sourced components to execute their attack: a laptop, the GNURadio development toolkit, Gqrx software-defined radio (SDR) receiver software, access to the FCCID.io website, and a HackRF One SDR. The only cost associated with the attack (besides owning a...
Today I got the mail notification the 10 year warranty extension on the AC condenser.
The notice said that this applies to 2017-21 CTRs - so we have plenty of company
I see a white 2020 CTR every couple weeks either in the parking lot at Whole Food or headed in that direction so he must live somewhere near Duke University. Otherwise, sighting on the road are very rare.
But CTRs are out there - there were 7 this morning at Cars and Coffee...
Big CTR turnout at cars and coffee this morning . I saw 7 CTRs; 5 were parked together.
I arrived late and was parked in a distant corner of the lot, and spotted another CTR even
further out than I was.
There was also someone walking a bengal cat.

Any other CTRs in the area going? Its been over a year since I've been to one of these,
and I forgot what a pain it is getting brake...
This morning I had an 8:30 appointment. When I got to the dealer they said that the truck with enough fuel pumps for today's installs was scheduled to arrive before they opened - but it had not appeared and wasn't predicted to arrive for another hour (or more). The service advisor was...
I had been checking the site and not seeing anything for my 2019 and forgot about it. But it is now my turn - there was a notification that arrived in the mail yesterday. I suspect it is only a matter of time for yours to show up in the system.
The Digital Chassis in Durham - they are where I get my tires mounted and would be my first choice for alignment. Super clean shop, great people, and ever time I have been there were amazing Porsches they were working on...
I'm running OZ Ultraleggera HLT 19x8.5 +53 offset wheels with and 245/35-19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. There is another Type R in in town running the same setup - a white 2020 CTR that I seen at the Whole Foods parking lot couple times.
More sidewall over the OEM wheels has helped a...
On this morning's weekly grocery run to Whole Foods here in Durham, I spotted another CTR. He was backing out of his parking place, so I didn't get a chance to talk, but did get a picture. The

Maybe more of us should get...
After I drove my first new car (an '89 Accord LX) into the ground, I bought a new '98 Integra GSR. Eventually, as the GSR began showing its age, I starting thinking about something new. So about 4-5 years ago I was intrigued by the BRZ, but it seemed a bit under-powered - and I was not in a...
I've been running a TrunkCratePro too - in red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MQ4UJNA/ref=dp_iou_view_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
No problems with the straps (at least so far) - I've had mine for a year
Since March I've not been driving much, but today on the weekly trip to the grocery store I saw a white 2020 CTR by the Duke University west campus. We both waved at the stoplight - that gets me up to 3 Type R sightings outside of Cars and Coffee events. :)
Today I saw a red Type R in Durham while I was driving my red Type R :). This was is only the second Type R I have seen outside of Cars and Coffee events.
Sadly, my car really needed a wash - but it was cool to see another one - and it motivated me to head to the car wash even though it was...
I've seen exactly one Type R in the wild here in Durham. I was heading home across the Duke campus from an early morning run and saw a black CTR at the stoplight on Towerview Road by the Duke Law school.
The only other CTRs I've were at the Cars and Coffee events in Morrisville.
So maybe...
Put a "Genuine OEM CDM VTEC TURBO Window Sticker decal" on the back window, and didn't get a ripple in it this time. Going very slowly from one end to the other worked, and now my car looks like its came from Canada. This sticker is good for at least another 17 HP, right? ;)
The main difference I notice is I stay in sport mode most of the time - on the OEM setup I was usually in comfort mode. It feels like I’m giving up a little in spirited cornering - but not much, and I was expecting that from all season tires. So now I’m curious about summer tires on 19” wheels...
I’m running close to +55 offset: OZ Ultraleggera HLT 19x8.5 +53 wheels with 245/35-19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. I decided to try 19” wheels (to get more sidewall) and since I wanted all season tires for winter this seemed like a good experiment to try. I’m planning on getting another...
