I have a 2017 Civic 2D EXL, a few months after I got it it started to make a high pitch humming sound when accelerating with the air conditioning on, and was most prominent in sport mode. But it was intermittent, so the technicians never found anything (although I do have this well documented). The noise would immediately stop if the AC was turned off mid acceleration, and if turned back on would 9/10 continue happening. I've noticed it's mostly in the colder weather, but I live in California and it's never THAT cold.
Now, 2.5 years later I am out of warranty, and I have noticed that not only does this still happen, but while parked my car also shakes somewhat if the AC is on. Not very much but enough that it seems that something isn't right and if turned off it once again stops.
I saw the other AC issue, but is this part of the same? Or is it different? I'm a new user so anything helps.
